Foreign students to be quarantined in Minsk

Students will not be allowed to settle in hostels and attend classes without a medical certificate. The measures have been taken to prevent the distribution of “swine” flu.
Let us remind you that our first and only swine flu carrier is a Chinese citizen (a BSU candidate) who returned to Minsk from home not long ago.

Other foreign students are expected to return from their vacations next week. More than a thousand people will arrive to the campus of the BSU from China, the USA, Iran, Nigeria, Sri-Lanka, Japan and Great Britain. They will undergo a medical checkup and be quarantined for some time. They will be settled in isolation wards available in hostels, reports “Soviet Byelorussia”.
