Flu drugs sold on prescription only

Tamiflu, a drug for respiratory diseases, costs $40 in Minsk, $60 in Moscow and between $40-60 in Warsaw.
The efficient anti-virus drug has appeared in pharmacies in Minsk, but it can be bought with prescription only due to the frenzy of the public, the Minsk-based office of Belpharmacy which owns a network of pharmacies in the Belarusian capital told the European Radio for Belarus.

Our radio reported earlier that Belarus imported over 40,000 packs of Tamiflu from Switzerland. The initial price of the drug was Br120,000, but now it is sold for nearly $40. The treatment doze requires three packs.

Tamiflu is available on prescription in 10 pharmacies owned by Belpharmacy in Minsk.
