Fight near hypermarket in Minsk
The incident occurred near the hypermarket Gippo in Uruchie on the evening of June 24.
Football fans were fighting and shooting from pneumatic staple guns, witnesses say. A bullet hit somebody’s head and the person died, they say. Another person was taken to hospital with a knife injury. The attackers fled, dengi.onliner.by reports.
However, Minsk police have not conformed the information about victims. The conflict started with the words “Whose fan are you?” There are no other details and a check-up is being conducted, Minsk City Executive Committee spokesperson Alyaksandr Lastouski said. The police have no information about casualties, he told Interfax-West.
Euroradio has contacted some Minsk football fan clubs. They have refuted any connection with the fight.
