EU donates 3 million for Belarus-Ukraine border modernization (video)
The Eastern Partnership has held a meeting dedicated to border administration in Minsk.
EU representative in Belarus Maira Mora participated in the meeting. The Belarusian border is one of the safest in Europe, she told ONT.
Maira Mora: “The Belarus-EU border is one of the safes borders. The waves of illegal immigration may reach over 50 thousand cases a year in other spots while it is only over 1700 at the Belarusian border.”
Brest and Pinsk border detachments will be improved by the Eastern Partnership soon. 3 million euro will be allocated for the Belarus-Ukraine border modernization in the near future.
