Entrepreneurs from 18 Belarusian cities agree to go on strike on September 1

Entrepreneurs from all regions of Belarus will go on strike on September 1 without having paid taxes. Frequent check-ups of enterprises after which goods are confiscated were the reason for it.
Entrepreneurs from Svetlahorsk initiated the republican strike. However, the results of check-ups do not satisfy entrepreneurs from other 17 Belarusian cities.

“They take away everything people earn and sell it in confiscatory shops”, - comments the leader of the campaign “For Free Business” Victar Harbachou in his interview given to the “Telegraph” Internet edition.

The latest mass check-up and confiscation of goods took place on August 9-10 in Orsha. The work of the market in Slutsk was stopped because of check-ups on August 10. Entrepreneurs suggest that the local authorities should think about the situation.

“They managed to stop confiscation but they will go on strike if repressions continue”, - reported Victar Harbachou.
