E-mail boxes not to need state registration in Belarus
The Ministry of Communication and Informatization has informed about it. Presidential decree #60 “On usage of the national segment of the world wide web - Internet” obliges to register all information networks, systems and resources starting from February 1, 2010. At first it was planned that e-mail boxes (including those that belong to physical entities) would have to be registered.
Now officials have claimed that a decision to cancel the obligatory registration of e-mail boxes has been taken after negotiations with the interested state organs. It applies to both legal and physical entities.
