The McDonald’s restaurant located in Bangalore Square in Minsk was suddenly closed ‘due to technical problems’ on the evening of April 26. People shared the photos of the closed restaurant on Facebook wondering that it was probably because the Chernobyl March rally was to pass by the McDonald’s on that day.

Witnesses said visitors could been seen inside and the light was on.

Darya Zhaleznichenka wrote a complaint about not being able to enter the restaurant. “You should not do it to people who love American fast food, freedom, equality and democracy – that’s it,” she noted humorously.
