Dmitry Pavlyuchenko in emergency care after suspected stroke

The web-based news agency naviny.by has quoted an unnamed source as saying that infamous Col. Dmitry Pavlyuchenko is in emergency care after having suffered a stroke. But there is no official confirmation of this report.

In late October Dmitry Pavlyuchenko was appointed a deputy commander of public safety corps at the Interior Ministry's troops.

His name is associated with the disappearances of former Interior Minister Yury Zakharenko, opposition politician Viktar Hanchar, businessman Anatol Karasouski and journalist Dmitry Zavadski. Pavlyuchenko is banned from entering the United States and EU member countries.
