Deserter who fled from firing ground not far from Baranavchy is caught in Minsk
The search for the deserter who fled from a firing ground in Baranavichy District took 10 days. The investigator from Baranavichy military office of public prosecutor Maxim Nazdryn informed ERB that the guy was caught in Minsk. He was dressed in plain clothes to avoid drawing attention.
It is known that he served in Slonim brigade. The deserter confessed that he did not want to serve in the army and decided to hide at his relatives’ in Homel Region. Now he may be sentenced to 2 or 7 years of imprisonment.
However, the investigation is checking whether the guy was able to perform military service.
