Cottage confiscated from former prosecutor Snehir

The house has been given to the administration of Soviet District of Minsk until the court decides what to do with it, informs “Kamsamolskaya pravda v Belarusi”.
Let us remind you that the cottage near Tsnyanka was mentioned by the President in his anti-corruption speech on November 13.

Then the former prosecutor said that the cottage had been built by his child’s godfather who had asked him to help with the decoration.

Representatives of the General Office of the Public Prosecutor and the administration of Soviet District gathered near the cottage last Friday. They failed to wait till Snehir’s wife brought the key, opened the door, levied distress and gave the building to the district.

There are three parts in the accusation pronounced to Snehir on April 29: power abuse, bribery (building materials) and some cartridges.

The lawyer and Mihail Snehir are studying the criminal case now. It will be sent to court by June 14.
