CIS leaders’ summit to be held in Minsk on October 10
The summit will be held on October 10, secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev said at the second meeting of secretaries of the CI
The issues of international cooperation of CIS member states and security will be discussed at the CIS summit in Minsk, Patrushev said. The appearance of new threats including the ones coming from radical Islamic militants will be mentioned there, ria.ru reports.
The first summit was held in December 2013. The threat to the world security coming from North African militants (Libya in the first place) was discussed there.
