Businessman in Pastavy survives execution by partner
A businessman from Pastavy tried to kill his partner over disagreements on how to run their business. He lured his victim to a forest for a conversation.
But the partner was saved by her wife. After the husband phoned her and said he was going "for a conversation", the woman set off to look for the man.
On the road near the village of Yunki, she spotted a car and her unconscious husband. Thanks to quick medical assistance, the 26-year-old man survived.
He sustained two heavy head injuries and a stomach injury. The police were fast to have detained the criminal. He is facing up to 15 years in prison for the attempt on life.
