Boris Berezovskii, a former Russian oligarch living in Great Britain, urges Western governments to exercise pressure on Putin.

Berezovski offers a detailed plan “how to make the regime of Putin collapse” in his article printed in the today’s issue of The Sunday Times.

According to this plan, the first thing that Western governments need to do is to announce Uladzimir Putin’s government unconstitutional. Then they should exercise pressure on all governmental institutions and even to organize an uprising in Russia.

“Only the people can be a legitimate force able to get rid of the illegitimate government”, - writes Berezovskii. He urges the West to strike a blow on the corrupt Russian elite Putin depends on.

The former oligarch thinks that Western countries should act together and start with audit of bank accounts of the Russian elite on the basis of their relation to the Kremlin.
