Bliznyuk cancels contract with “Frankfurt” and returns to Minsk

A former forward of BATE and a player of Belarus national team Henadz Bliznyuk has cancelled his contract with German “Frankfurt” ahead of time and has returned home.
The player has informed “Pressball” that he had a lot of complaints.

“The main thing that depressed me was the fact that the team was playing some other football. They use the principle “hit and run” while I am used to the combined style. I was also dissatisfied with my role. I was considered a forward in “Frankfurt” but in reality I was the third support halfback. I felt discomfort. My vocation is finishing attacks. There were also some organization problems. The club did not hire a teacher of German for me although it had been promised. I totally depended on my interpreter who was not always around… Having considered the situation, the club and I decided that it would be better to cancel the contract. It was done according to a mutual agreement on May 14”.

According to Bliznyuk, he may continue his carrier in Germany or Russia.
