Białowieża Forest does not make it to final of New 7 Wonders of the World contest

28 official New 7 Wonders of the World finalists have been nominated. A new Internet voting has already started. It will finish in two years, reports BelTA. Objects from different regions and countries are among the new aspirants for the title of a new wonder of the world. Among them are Vesuvius in Italy, Komodo National Park in Indonesia, Uluru Rock in Australia, the Matterhorn (Italy, Switzerland), the Sundarbans Forest (Bangladesh, India), The Great Barrier Reef (Australia, Papua New Guinea), The Galapagos Islands in Ecuador and others.

Let us remind you that Białowieża Forest was on the list of aspirants too. However, the protection forest has not made it to the final.
