beZ bileta to launch “Cinema”

The Belarus’s band beZ bileta has finished a new album titled “Cinema”.

We invited the band’s frontman Vital Artiste to share his impressions about their third album and whether it was to be different from the previous CDs.

“All of our CDs are different, because we are not stuck at one place and try to go ahead and make progress. The latest disk will be different from the previous one, because it will have clearer texts and the songs are arranged in a more transparent way. Generally, the sound has become more formatted in a sense that you do not fear giving it out to listen by the first stranger you meet. At the same time, the product has preserved intellectual features just like before.

As far as the album’s sound is concerned, one could feel some retro sounds from late 1980s and early 1990s. This is not a deliberate stylization. Simply, it has become very lyrical. The contemporary art is very aggressive. Our album, on the opposite, is slower and more melodic. At the same time, we have noticed that our retro tones match the current musical trends in the world,” the artiste said.

Vital also told us why they decided to name their album “Cinema”.

“During our work, we noticed that our songs sounded like separate stories. We thought they resembled movie scripts. Talking about the sound, you could also pick some influences of the Kino (Cinema) band that was very popular in the early 1990s. The influence is not in the texts, but in the spirit of the songs.”

The concert based on the new “Cinema” album is scheduled to take place on May 11 in the grand hall of the Minsk Concert Hall. Additionally, the band will continue their tradition, inviting their most active fans to their shows free of charge. So far, the musicians are still thinking about the terms of their traditional quiz. They have promised to post them on their official web site within several days towards the presentation.

The Cinema CD will officially be launched on May 7.
