Belarusians drive less due to frost
The sharp frost has led to a decrease in the number of drivers in Belarus. The number of road accidents has also decreased because of it, reports “Interfax” referring to the driving inspectorate.
Driving inspectors say that a lot of drivers have started using public transport due to the frost. According to different sources, about 50% or 70% of drivers do not use their cars in the wintertime is it is too cold. The majority of such drivers own old Soviet cars and live in the country.
