Belarusian pilot Mihail Petuhou arrived from Thailand to Kazakhstan last night
The Il-76 crew detained in Bangkok arrived in Alma-Ata late at night. Besides four citizens of Kazakhstan, Belarusian Mihail Petuhou also arrived in Alma-Ata with the help of a regular flight Bangkok-Alma-Ata, reports “Interfax”. A bit later he set off for Belarus bypassing Moscow. Let us remind you that the Il-76 crew were detained in Bangkok in December 2009 with an illegal freight of weapons from North Korea. They were accused of illegal transportation of weapons and possession of explosives. The Thai authorities decided to deport the pilots in connection with the fact that the Office of the Public Prosecutor had dismissed its charges.
