Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires is against prohibition of import

Belarus should not fight import; it should better use measures to protect the domestic market as it is usually done in the international trade practice. The statement was made by the deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Andrei Eudachenka. According to him, it is necessary to fight unfair import performed with the help of distorted schemes on wrong economic terms which undermines competition in the country.

The official stressed that is was necessary to refuse from measures contradicting the rules of international trade. A.Eudachenka is sure that Belarusian enterprises do not make use of all antidumping, compensatory and defensive measures allowed in the international trade.
