Belarusian drifter detained in Minsk October Square

An unusual thing happened in Minsk October Square on Saturday night. Head of Minsk police press service Alyaksandr Lastouski told Euroradio:

Lastouski: “Policemen noticed an AUDI 100 drifting around the Christmas Tree in October Square at about 1 a.m. The driver decided to do it at a high speed. There were three young men in the car and two of them were drunk. They tried fighting the policemen.”

The infringers were detained and two administrative reports were drawn up against each of them. They have already been fined, Lastouski added.

A Russian citizen started drifting in October Square about two weeks ago. He uploaded the video of his ‘deeds’ on the Internet. The police managed to find him and he will be called to account for it, Minsk policemen say.
