Belarus to ship Venezuelan oil through Lithuania

Lithuania's Ambassador in Minsk Edminas Bagdonas has confirmed that it is realistic to ship the Venezuelan oil to Belarus through the Lithuanian sea ports. The Lithuanian nexperts have already carried out a feasibility study at the Poland-owned Butinge terminal. However, no formal talks are in progress, the ambassador noted.

Meanwhile, Belarus plans to buy a company in the Klaipeda port. In 2007, Belarus shipped 50 percent more goods against the previous year, reports energyland.info.
