Belarus pupils to sit traffic rules exams twice a year

Pupils in Belarus will have to study traffic rules and sit exams on this subject twice a year -- in December and in May before holiday breaks, reports Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi newspaper.
Only first-graders and high-school students will be exempt from the tests. The programs will vary depending on the age.

Luckily, pupils will not have to write test papers. Instead, their knowledge will be evaluated in games, contests or roundtable discussions.
