Belarus butcheries advance to Russian market

Thirteen more meat-processing factories from Belarus have been granted permission by the Russian sanitary authorities to sell their products at the Russian market.
The Belarusian butcheries were subjected to a thorough inspection by the Russian sanitary officials. In March 2007, out of 23 Belarusian factories, checked by Russia, only three butcheries broke through to the Russian market. Belarus vice prime minister Ivan Bambiza was recently in Moscow to hold talks in Moscow to smooth the way for more Belarusian meat importers.
