Baumgertner could get $12 million golden shake

The manager could get a compensation of $12 million for leaving the position of Uralkali CEO, Forbes reports. An anonymous representative of Uralkali told journalists about it. The official sum of the compensation was not announced. However, there is information about its inclusion in the rewards given to members of the administration board in 2013.

Vladislav Baumgertner left the position of Uralkali CEO at the end of 2013. He was replaced by Uralkhim deputy CEO Dmitrii Osipov. However, Baumgertner preserved his seat in the Uralkali board of directors.

Baumgertner was arrested at the airport in Minsk in August 2013. The arrest was the peak of the potassium war between Belarus and Russia.
