Barshcheuskі: People will not go to Bangalore Square on Liberty Day
The BNF party has initiated the creation of a steering committee needed to celebrate the Day of Liberty on March 25. The head of the party Lyavon Barshcheuski has informed ERB about it. According to the politician, heads of the BNF party have applied for the action of March 25 in advance in order to start an information campaign about the holiday earlier:
Barshcheuskі: The steering committee is being created and all negotiations have been conducted. Other parties will participate in it too… There is a problem about the information campaign. We would have started the information campaign too late if we had settled it with everyone first.
Barshcheuskі noted that negotiations concerning the Day of Liberty were being conducted both within the United Democratic Forces and beyond them.
At the same time, the politician noted that if the authorities tried to send people to Bangalore Square again, people would not go there:
Barshcheuskі: Evidently, people will not go to Bangalore Square – it is clearly demonstrated in their mood.
