Anatol Lyabedzka is warned for violation of boundary regime

The leader of the United Civil Party (UCP) Anatol Lyabedzka has been pronounced an administrative warning for boundary regime violation. The politician was detained in Ashmyany (Hrodna Region) on July 18 at about 2 p.m. He had an appointment with a UCP deputy contender going to take part in the parliamentary elections there. Employees of Ashmyany District Department of the Interior informed Lyabedzka that he was detained because an inhabitant of Ashmyany had phoned them and said that some strangers were trying to enter lobbies of the houses. As it turned out later, the woman who called them was an employee of Ashmyany Executive Committee.

The politician had to spend three hours in Ashmyany District Department of the Interior and was delivered to the commandant's office of frontier troops. An administrative protocol for violation of the boundary regime was drawn up against Lyabedzka and he was obliged to leave the borderland.
