Anatol Lyabedzka: UCP preparing street actions in support of Andrei Klimau
The health and life of the politician Andrei Klimau are in danger. The announcement was made by the United Civil Party. Let us remind you that Klimau has been kept in prison for articles published in the Internet since April 3. A heart attack occurred to the politician in the confinement cell. The leader of UCP Anatol Lyabedzka has read several Klimau’s letters and is sure that the politician’s life is in danger. According to Lyabedzka, Klimau has never shown he had problems even in very difficult situations.
Anatol Lyabedzka: “Now it can be seen not only between the lines of his letters but he openly states he feels bad and has health problems”.
UCP is trying to urge the authorities to release Klimau. For example, the party is asking people to send their appeals to the President’s administration.
Anatol Lyabedzka: “If there is pressure from political structures, international organizations and regular citizens we may be able to make the authorities reconsider the case of Andrei Klimau”.
Anatol Lyabedzka will propose to unite efforts to help Andrei Klimau at the UCP presidium on June 6. UCP also claimed that the party could guarantee that Andri Klimau would not leave the country if he was released.
