Almost 96% of Belarusian youth use social media - report
The reason why Belarusians go online is to chat on social media and search for information, according to the report by Belarus National Statistics Committee titled Belarus in Figures.
The report reveals that children use Internet mostly to play online games and visit educational resources. Grow-up Belarusians tend to search for information and use e-mail.

Almost 96% of people aged between 16 and 24 are active users of social networking sites.
According to Belsat, there are also users of online games aged over 65 years old. There are also e-mail users among those aged less than 10 years old.
