All companies owned by Yury Chyzh stay on EU black list

The day before it became known that the European Union had prolonged the sanctions against the Belarusian officials for a year. Previously, it was informed that 3 people would be added to the list while 13 people and 5 companies would be crossed out. Nevertheless, businessman Yury Chyzh (in the photo) stayed in the list, as well as 18 companies he is connected with. They all got to the 'black list' on March 25, 2012. The EU official journal informed then that Chyzh "rendered financial support to Lukashenka regime through his company 'Triple' which acts in different spheres of the Belarusian economy'.

Dynama Minsk football club that performs in the top league of the Belarusian championship also stayed in the 'black list'.

The official document of the Council of the EU with the 'black list' is available here.
