Alexander Milinkevich to meet Bush in Prague
Alexander Milinkevich, the leader of For Freedom pro-democracy movement in Belarus, is taking part in the international conference titled "Democacy and Security" in Prague. He is visiting the Czech Republic at the invitation of Vaclav Havel and Natan Scheransky. Apart from the conference, Milinkevich is scheduled to meet with US President George Bush, Estonia's President Tomas Ilves, the former Czech President Vaclav Havel and other political and public figures.
The 'Democracy and Security' international conference is taking place ahead of the G8 Summit in Germany. The conferences focuses on the issues associated with the support of democratic processes in the totalitarian regimes. The so called Prague Documents is expected to be passed at the end of the conference, according to Belapan.
