25,000 abandoned houses in Hrodna region
The authorities in the Hrodna region are trying to solve the problem of abandoned house, reports Hrodzenskaya prauda. There are 25000 abandoned buildings in the region. The abandoned houses become dens for homeless and asocial people. But it is not so easy to acknowledge formally that a house has no owner. The registration of an sbandoned house itself costs Br1.5 million of the budget money. If a house is old, demolition costs another Br1 million.
