Nearly 200 people came to the central square of Svietlahorsk wearing medical masks on their faces and holding green baloons. The flashmob lasted for about an hour to protest against the work of the new cellulose plant - the cause of unpleasant smell in the city.

Gomel.today reports people were standing and chatting with each other without any posters in their hands. They did not shout any political demands, either. Plainclothes police agents were also present to record the flashmob participants on video cameras. After some time, a police officer came to the square and reminded the people about their responsibility for taking part in an authorized gathering.
