18 people in Belwest leave official trade union

18 staff at the shoe-maker Belwest quit the government-run trade union in protest against the factory's administration, which is trying to recover money from workers for 180 missing shoes. Auditors detected the missing stock in August, but no-one could name the exact amount, reports Bulletin-online. The administration ordered workers to pay between Br15,000 to Br100,000 to the factory's account "voluntarily".
