13,000 prisoners to vote during parliamentary polls

Almost 13,000 people, held in the Department of Corrections' facilities, will be able to vote during the parliamentary elections in Belarus.  This figure includes around 1400 people held in police detention, around 3000 people in labor treatment clinics and over 8000 prisoners, notes Interfax news agency.

Ballot boxes will be delivered to cells for prisoners, and polling stations will be set up in labor treatment facilities.
