In Zlobin, Gomel region, a teller with the local bank has prevented robbery. According to Igar Gryskievic, a spokesman for the Gomel Regional Police Department, the incident took place in the evening of April 2, when a bank teller from a local Belarusbank branch was about to leave for home and was locking the bank doors.
When she was doing that, an unidentified man approached her and threatened with something that resembled a gun. The man demanded the money, but the teller fought back. The robber had to run away. Police are trying to locate his personality and possible whereabouts.
