11:01 Uladzimir Kaciura on hunger strike in Homel
Uladzimir Kaciura, the deputy chairman of the regional branch of the United Civil Party in Homel, has announced a hunger strike while in the police custody. Kaciura was sentenced to five days of arrest for alleged minor hooliganism and fine evasion. The police satisified some of his demands. He was transferred to a single cell and allowed to use his mobile phone. The politician is to be released in the evening of March 31.
