Zmitser Dashkevich denied exit from Belarus

The Belarusian border guards today in the morning did not allow Zmitser Dashkevich, the leader of the Malady Front, to leave the country.
The former political prisoner was on his way to Vilnius in order to meet his friends and reinstate himself as a student at a local university where he studied before imprisonment. However, the border guards told him that he was banned from leaving the country, Dashkevich told the European Radio for Belarus.

“They told me that I am in the travel-ban database. They showed my file in the computer and then put a stamp in my passport saying that I was denied exit”.

According to Dashkevich, the border guards advised him to approach Minsk's Kastrychnitski Court which sentenced the politician to one and a half years in prison. The court is supposed to explain Dashkevich why he is on the black list.
