Zhodzina election commission rejects 400 signatures for Statkevich and 200 for Kastusyou

Zhodzina city election commission has rejected the signatures collected for nomination of the BPF Vice-Chairman Ryhor Kastusyou and the Chairman of the steering committee for creating the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (People's Assembly) Mikalaj Statkevich as presidential contenders, at the session on November 7, reports BelaPAN. Zhodzina city commission has found a lot of mistakes in their signature sheets. People who do not live in the city were included in the lists. Thus, 400 signatures for Statkevich and 200 for Kastusyou have been considered invalid. Other contenders' nomination groups have done a better job, stated the Commission.
