Zhanna Litvina: There are no illusions about the meeting but there will be changes
The problem of distribution of local independent newspapers will be solved. The chairperson of BAJ Zhanna Litvina expressed this hope in an interview with ERB.
Let us remind you that a meeting of the administration of BAJ with the assistant of the leader of the state, head of the chief ideology department of the President’s Administration Usevalad Yancheuski took place yesterday. Conditions of existence of independent mass media in Belarus were discussed there.
"The atmosphere of the meeting was sincere and friendly, - says Zhanna Litvina. – We were listened to very attentively. We were asked questions and our interlocutor seemed interested in understanding the problem. It was not an order of a higher instance, that’s for sure”.
Zhanna Litvina hopes that at least some of the problems discussed with Yancheuski will be solved.
Zhanna Litvina: “We have no illusions that all our problems will be solved today or tomorrow. But I personally believe that the problem of distribution of local independent newspapers will be solved”.
