Youth demand to open a disco-bar in Hantsavichy
Young people demand to open a disco-bar in Hantsavichy (Brest Region). A delegation of 15 people approached the building of the District Executive Committee to hand in their appeal to the city’s authorities. The demand of the inhabitants to stop creating obstacles to the opening of a disco-bar in the district centre is expressed in the appeal. The thing is that officials only allow it to be open from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. which is unacceptable for both its owners and their potential clients.
The document was signed by about 80 people. Some of them managed to get to the office of the head of the District Executive Committee Uladzimir Stolyar and promised him they would get thousands of signatures and send them to Lukashenka.
The head of the District Executive Committee replied that he could phone the President himself and explain him everything.
Entrepreneurs wishing to open a disco-bar say that the local authorities are afraid of competition because there are several “Raispazhyusayz”’s cafes in the town. However, there are no disco-bars.
