Youth activist Mihal Sharamet is detained in Minsk
A youth democratic activist Mihal Sharamet was detained for three days yesterday. He is in the investigation department of Minsk and Minsk Region KGB. He will be interrogated in the presence of his lawyer today.
According to the legal centre “Vyasna”, Sharament was summoned to KGB for a conversation yesterday. Some time later it became known that he had been detained and that a 4-hour search initiated by the Office of Public Prosecutor had been conducted in the flat of his 80-year-old grandmother. Policemen did not find anything interesting.
