Yanukevich: Zero chance for authorities to start dialogue with opposition

Alyaksai Yanukevich believes that representatives of the democratic opposition have spoken about the necessity of social dialogue within the country, the dialogue between the authorities and the opposition for a number of years. But the opposition faces the flat unwillingness of the authorities to have such a dialogue. However, if tomorrow representatives of the democratic forces get invited to, for example, the parliament or the presidential administration for a frank conversation, they know what to talk about with authorities.

Yanukevich: "We would talk of political prisoners and stopping pressure on the opposition, business and society; change of geopolitical orientation, the need to leave the integration associations dominated by Russia and the need for integration, tighter association with the European Union. And the third - the real market economic reforms. Here are the three suggestions we would be prepared to put on the table of the authorities tomorrow."

The question is if the authorities want to talk specifically with the Party of the Belarusian Popular Front. According to Yanukevich, Lukashenka, most likely, has decided, with whom of the "fifth column" he would conduct a dialogue, and who among them is "harmful and nasty." But the President did not say who is who.

The probability of such a dialogue, said the Euroradio source, in the coming year is zero.

On April 28, Alyaksandr Lukashenka addressed the people and the National Assembly. During his speech, he said: "Never give up on dialogue with our "fifth column", make friends with these people - not all of them are harmful and ugly."
