Will Nikolai Bordyuzha discuss creation of peace-making forces with Lukashenka?

A working visit of Nikolai Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, to Belarus will start on September 3. The information has been distributed by the press service of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
Meetings with high-rank military officials and politicians of Belarus will take place during the visit: the President, the Secretary General of the Security Council and the Minister of Defense.

Let us remind you that the issue of creation of peace-making forces of the organization’s member states will be discussed at the summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization that will take place in Dushanbe on October 4 and 6.

The contingent will be acting on behalf of the organization and under the aegis of the UN. The head of the Commission of International Affaires and National Security of the Council of the Republic Mikalai Charhinets informed ERB that Belarus “was an active supporter of the idea of creation of “blue helmets”.
