Victoria Azarenka, 27, is coming back to big-time tennis. The Belarusian tennis player, former World No.1, will take part in the Mallorca Open in Spain on June 20. She will compete with Risa Ozaki of Japan (World No.74). The match will be broadcast live on Belarus-5. It will start at 8 p.m. , BELTA reports.

Azarenka took a one-year break from tennis. She gave birth to her son in December 2016. Victoria wanted to go back to tennis at the beginning of 2018 at first. Then she decided to do it at the end of July 2017. However, she will do it earlier. The prize fund of the Mallorca Open is 250 thousand dollars.

“I have been training a lot and I am hoping to be able to compete after such a long break,” Victoria Azarenka said. “I know that it will be hard but I will do my best.”
