Veteran gives Lukashenka a week to fulfill his promise

On April 26, during a visit to Slaugarad, Mahiliou region, Alyaksandr Lukashenka promised Felix Shkirmankou to cancel the transport tax can for war veterans.

On the evening of May 8, veteran told Euroradio, there was no information about the abolition of vehicle tax for veterans on Victory Day.

Felix Shkirmankou: "I'll wait until the holidays are over, then a little more - and then we'll see! I doubt it... But on the other hand, someone could tell him, if he does not understand that if you do not fulfill that promise, the veteran will sure write in the Narodnaya Volya how he was lied to by the president. Does he need it? You could say he started the election campaign!"

Immediately after the talk with Lukashenka, the friend of the Belarusian Popular Front, Felix Shkirmankou said: "Let's see what the word of the president is worth and how it will be done, because there are only 11 days remaining until May 9." Now he gives the head of state a week to fulfill his promise. If, veteran says, nothing changes during that time, he will write a letter to a newspaper. After all, Felix Shkirmankou is sure there is no use writing any appeals to the presidential administration or somewhere else.
