US Congress votes for Iraq exit

The U.S. House of Representatives voted 218 against 203 to approve the exit schedule for the American troops in Iraq. The congressmen thus challenged President Bush, having linked the decision with $50 billion requested by the White House for military expenditures, reports Reuters.  The legislation has been tabled to the Senate, where the Republican majority is likely to block the bill.
