Union of Writers' retreat sold for Br3.5 billion

The retreat of the Union of Writers, located near the town of Rakau in the Valozhyn district, Minsk region, has been auctioned for Br3.5 billion. It was bought by the Minsk-based company Belinvestkapital. The auction took place at the National Committee for Property. It was the second auction after Beintekhbud, a company from Minsk, bought the building for $6.6 billion but failed to meet its oblligations and the contract was terminated.
