Ukrainian Security Service confirms detention of former Minister of Transport

The Ukrainian Security Service has confirmed the detention of a former Minister of Transport Mikola Rudkovski.
It was done according to a decision of one of Kiev courts. The court answered to the appeal of the investigator who claimed that  Rudkovski had refused to cooperate with the investigation.

At first it was reported that the former Minister was dragged out of his ward in hospital in Kiev and taken somewhere by people in masks. However, the USS refuted it and claimed that Mikola Rudkovski was detained when he was being discharged.

He is mentioned in several criminal cases connected with power abuse in his former Ministry. For example, Rudkovki’s trip to Paris that cost 80 thousand dollars is being investigated.
