Ukrainian cargo stranded in Belarus

У Оршы затрымалі 55 вагонаў з украінскімі грузамі

55 freight rail cars carrying Ukrainian cargo to Kazakhstan are being held at the Belarusian station of Orsha, reports Ukraine's Ministry for Economic Development and Trade.

On July 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved amendments into his earlier edict, which sets out special conditions for the transit of goods from the territory of Ukraine via Russia to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, creating problems for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian ministry says the rail cars have been stranded in Orsha because the Russians do not allow them into their country. Ukraine-owned cargo trucks experience similar problems when in transit via Russia.
