Ukraine removed from WWII stamps in Belarus

For some reason, the stamps have been amended because of Ukraine, Belarusian Partisan reports.

The stamps were initially inscribed as 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine from German Fascist Invaders. The draft of the future stamp was shown to stamp collectors as having this inscription.

However, the inscription and the stamp were changed at the end of March. They will be called 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus and Russia from German Fascist Invaders. The project authors have decided to forget about Ukraine.

The Post of Belarus could not explain why Ukraine had been removed from the stamps.
